Mixed emotions on this one. I never liked Cowher too much for whatever reason but he has proven that he can win.
Did you bac see Gruden campaigning for the inevitable future HC opening in NYC? |

Pretty amazing, Tampa giving up on Morris so quick??? I mean, it's not like he has all that much to work with, they are going through a rebuild...

Re: Tampa contacts Bill Cowher
I don't like this coming out on gameday! Why the hell would they leak this right before a game, unless they are trying to send a message to Morris? Cowher has said, a thousand times already, that he will not consider a job, until the season is over, and unless the job has already been vacated. This seems like a bunch of hot air to me. Intended to inflate a shriveling balloon that is the Bucs.

Re: Tampa contacts Bill Cowher
I thought he was going to Chicago, Washington, or was it Cleveland??? It seems every team out there is mentioning his name this year. Geez. He was a good coach and all, but how many Superbowls did he win exactly? One I believe. Shanahan has two, Gruden has one, so out of the three, it seems that Mike should be ahead of the group.

Re: Tampa contacts Bill Cowher
this would be very surprising-
they let Morris clean house with vets and then bring in his own QB. Hiring Cowher would set them back another year, so I say go for it |

Agreed on the previous posts ... but if Cowher is an upgrade and he's now willing, then why the heck not?
