Re: My heart hurts
All we can do now is cheer for the Bears (disgusting) and hope that we can back into home field. Then maybe the time off will help them get some of the emotion back because right they look like they don't care anymore. No passion whatsoever.

Re: My heart hurts
They break our hearts every year. Why is this season any different. Really had the wind taken out of my sails today. This sucks. You cant be a contender and lose at against one of the worst teams in the league.

Re: My heart hurts
I watched this happen earlier this year with another one of my teams, the St. Louis Cardinals. They had the division wrapped up and pretty muched mailed it in the last month of the year. But they fell into such a funk, it was impossible for them to just turn it on in the playoffs, and got swept. We can't go in playing like this and expect any type of positive results.
The defense is pretty much playing like they are supposed to be playing, in my opinion. I think they just overachieved this year. Williams needs time to get his players in. What really concerns me is our offense. Completely out of sync, and it just looks like Brees is not really confident anymore. Nothing but short dump offs other than the TD to Meach. If they can't play lights out, with our d, it's one and done. |
