Does it?

Carolina will just run it up the gut for 250 yards...

Smith being out means NADA... Stewart and Williams are BEAST...

I never wish injury on an opponet (except Brady lol) this is a bummer for Carolina. I wish him a speedy recovery!

I'd prefer to play Carolina at full strength and beat them instead of beating them without him. Carolina still has 2 great running backs, and checking my memory, we couldn't stop the run if they were running 2 junior high backs in there. The Carolina game will prove something to me, and I sure hope it's resilience.

I agree with this. We need to beat somebody good. We need to beat another Randy Moss. I'd like to see them tested, and come thru.

Of course, WE have plenty of injuries, ourselves, so this is no different than the adversity we have faced and beaten.

You bring up a good point... maybe we can make Manning, Brady and Rivers look like Campbell and Freeman. On thing is for sure, the won't play much better.

Steve Smith being out is huge. That's 10 points right there.

What relevance is Steve Smith's status. The panthers aren't in the playoffs. What we do this week doesn't matter because home field throughout doesn't matter. We have no realistic chance of beating any of the other 5 NFC playoff teams so we don't have to worry about the game after the first one.

Ha! Man your heart must not be hardened yet by this team. Honestly we can't say what to expect from this team. I's not over until the refs call the game.
