Re: Steve Smith has broken arm.
I might normally jump on this bad news as a silver lining for next week, but...
We've made Jason Campbell, Atlanta's backup and Josh Freeman looking like Manning, Brady and Rivers. Until the D decides to wake up and the O puts together at least 3 good quarters of football, we're going to stay in the L column... |

And their other WRs.
It doesn't seem to take a household name player to scorch this defense... |

Re: Steve Smith has broken arm.
He did enough to convert some 3rd downs and they ran all over us.
Maybe he didn't have big #'s, but he made enough plays to win the game... |

Re: Steve Smith has broken arm.
Dude, this isn't a positive about Steve Smith. God knows I can't stand the guy, but I won't revel in his injury. I'd prefer to play Carolina at full strength and beat them instead of beating them without him. Carolina still has 2 great running backs, and checking my memory, we couldn't stop the run if they were running 2 junior high backs in there. The Carolina game will prove something to me, and I sure hope it's resilience.

Re: Steve Smith has broken arm.
Broke the radius. Surgery tomorrow.
Carolina Panthers WR Steve Smith breaks left arm vs. New York Giants - ESPN I don't wish injury on any player, but this definitely helps the Saints. |
