Hey, some of us that were born and bred here are still HUGE WHO DAT fans and we make the trek to the Superdome as well as to Charlotte. Can't say that the fans are any more hostile than anywhere else I've ever been. If you love your team, you love your team. Gotta respect that! Should be a lot of Saints fans there. Carolina fans been selling their tickets right and left. Yep, it is going to be COLD and most Carolinians hate the cold weather too. Going to be there freezing my butt off but still LOVING my Saints! Black and Gold all the way!!!!

I'm gonna be in the 500's as well. I hope the fans aren't as bad as the Redskins fans. They wanted to kill me by the end of the game

Well glad I won't be alone there on Sunday, too bad Brunell will be in, I was hoping to see Brees for a little at least.
Maybe he'll have plenty of time to come over and sign an autograph for the wife and I then, haha. Well New Jersey will be in the house, give me a holler is you see me around. WHO DAT?! |

Re: Any 'Who Dats' heading to the Carolina game?
Quite a few Who Dats in attendence, way more then I expected. Turns out we parked in the right parking lot too, seemed like every car that pulled up had black and gold pouring out of it!
We headed into the stadium early, watched warmups, and even got some autographs. Reggie signed my Bush jersey and Bush, Brees, Ellis and Lecky signed my "New Jersey" jersey! While warming up, my wife got hit with a football in the chest by the Panthers punter...hard too! Nope.....didn't get to keep the ball either.....sad. High fives from many players going into the tunnel....Shockey, Porter, Hargrove, Roby and Hartley. Well worth the trip, looks like I'll be making that drive again next year! |

I hated Brunell but I did get Drew Brees and Reggie Bush's autograph. And I seen you Captain. I tried to yell from the tunnel I saw you behind the goal post lol.

It's wierd being behind the goal post like that, when the net comes down it'll take your hat off with it if you're not careful, lol! |

Re: Any 'Who Dats' heading to the Carolina game?
I was on the other side of the tunnel from the monroe crew. Brees stole my sharpie to autograph there sign. But he gave my sharpie back when I asked for it. He's a nice guy LOL. And I never sat that close to a goal post. If I were you I would ask for a game ball everytime someone kicks thru the uprights lol

Yea, the wife got pelted with a ball right in her chest during warmups and had to give the ball back. She's lucky I wasn't there when she got hit, as I DEFINITLY would have caused a scene and had the first aid down there to "check her out".......which means we would have had field passes or a game ball to go home with, haha. She did say it really hurt though, and she said it hit so hard that "if I had implants it would've popped it"! You gotta be careful when that net comes down too, it almost took my hat off a few times as it came down. Awesome seats and a nice stadium too. Decent fans, very hospitable, no animosity towards Saints fans that I saw. I would definitly go again, probably next year no doubt. |
