Media loaded with doubters.
In the beginning of the season, we were all fussing that the national media were skeptics and doubters, not giving us credit even when we deserved it. With 11 consecutive strong victories, that all changed. Now we are back to square one.
The media is all over Philadelphia, Dallas, and even Green Bay and Arizona now. That is as it should be. The Saints do not look like a playoff contender. Only winning will change the attitude of the media. And even then, the media will still be cool towards traditional lightweights and small market teams. I have a hunch that the Saints can use this to their advantage, just like they did at the start of the season. You don't think we are worthy of notice? Watch this... Here's hoping the Saints march into Carolina with an attitude that translates into victory. A victory that changes the direction of the team. |

I would say that any team coming into the dome expecting a cake walk will have a surprise waiting for them.
The NO Saints are the #1 seed for a reason, and if I had to bring my team in to play against them I would be very apprehensive. This team has been on cruise control for the last couple of weeks...kinda like a heavyweight taking a breather. I can't wait for round 2. |

Re: Media loaded with doubters.
How can they NOT be doubters? We couldnt win a game that seals up the HFA, it was a big game was it not? How are we supposed to win another big game when the playoffs start? We are supposed to be peaking right now (According the the media) and we are not. We have more problems than just a few key guys being injured. That Dallas loss still taste nasty for me as a fan, i bet its lingering in the lockerroom. Lets just hope they dont let it effect them three weeks from now

Well the media is right. The Saints (and Vikes) are not on a roll are they?
But make no mistake though. No NFL team is gonna be softened by media reports, they are better than that. So we have to be ready for them all. My, it s gonna be thunder whoever we get. |

I'm glad the media doubts us...we could obviously use some motivation. Besides, I like the underdog role.

We are just a few key pieces from turning things around -- Greer, Shockey, Ellis, Thomas, to name a few. We may not turn things around, but I am sure that we can.
