Re: McCray arrested for DUI

Bobby Hebert made a good point on WWL last night. McCray was probably partying a little with his alma mater since U of Florida is in town for the Sugar Bowl.

It was also mentioned that any suspension by the NFL wouldn't happen until next year. That's a bright spot at least.

Or maybe no suspension at all:

Some points.....

1. Some of you obviously have never lived in New Orleans. If the sun isn't above the horizon it is still early in the evening.
2. There is a presumption of innocence in this country
3. Some of you have obviously never seen New Orleans Police in action

Indeed. They say New York is the city that never sleeps, but New Orleans is the city that doesn't pass out until 6:30 am.

You mean those guys that ride through the city on horses with firehoses to clear the streets? (I still wanna be down there for that one day.)

Yeah. Haven't you ever heard a hip hop song? It's all about the car, patrone, big butts, and money...... Matter a fact, that's really all any rap songs are about.

Rap was so much better when it was about south-central LA, pigs, 9mm and 40 oz.

Because their minds ain't right.

Put a 14 year old brain in a 28 year old football players body and fill his pockets with money and wind him up and watch what happens.

Re: McCray arrested for DUI

Guys, I have had my stupid moments. I have had a dui before, and I'm not ashamed of it. I did my time, learned from the mistake and moved on. I don't worship the devil, I have never commited murder, and I don't consider myself the anti christ for doing it.

No one is perfect, whether they play for the Saints, or work at 7 eleven it doesn't matter. I just love the fact that most everyone on this post, has convicted him already, and he hasn't even been to court yet. You gotta love our justice system huh. Guilty until proven innocent?

And please don't give me the "role model" scenario. The biggest role model in a kids life, SHOULD be the parents, not some guy on a wheaties box, or a football card. That's a cop out.
