this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I may get called down for this but every since MM came back our tackling has gotten sloppy. I can't say it's his fault, but every one tries to bump the ball carrier down instead of wrapping up the ball ...

I may get called down for this but every since MM came back our tackling has gotten sloppy. I can't say it's his fault, but every one tries to bump the ball carrier down instead of wrapping up the ball carrier. I've never like the way he tackled and it seems to have rubbed off on the team. I like MM and wish him well, he was just a little older and slower this time around.

I don't like this, and only because we are so thin at CB right now. I agree on the tackling, but from what I understand this isn't the easiest defense to learn, so he's got at least what, five weeks of experience, where as these new guys have NONE. I hope they resign him after the Panthers game. All these player moves, right before the play offs, has got me a little concerned.
