NO.
But it's not his fault, this crappy team has sucked for weeks now. |

Re: Can Brunell Win
Too bad for Brunell. But we need a different QB.

Re: Can Brunell Win
Until today I was confident that Brunell could manage a game well if he had to play (God forbid). I don't feel the same now. The team as a whole didn't look like they were into the game, but he had some terrible throws.

Re: Can Brunell Win
Well, I think the Saints need to consider a new direction regarding backup QB for next year. Not all on Brunell, I know he hasn't had a lot of time to work with the team, and the play calling was very vanilla. Still, dude really looked like a washed up aging player today. No accuracy even on the easy passes. Honestly, I was a bit spooked watching him in preseason, guess it's good the Saints didn't really need him so far this year.

Re: Can Brunell Win
Brunell was really done when he left Washington, there shouldn't be any surprises today. The only competitive veteran out there is Jeff Garcia who can
still move a team. We are lucky that Brees has stayed healthy, because now you see what will happen if Drew gets hurt. However we are not alone if Manning, Brady, Favre, Rivers or Warner go down it will basically be the same fate for those teams. But today we saw Wes Welker go down for The Pats which will greatly influence that team. Even though it was tough to watch today Coach Payton made a good call to keep Drew sidelined. |

I'd be shocked if MB didn't retire at the end of the year.
