By Nakia Hogan, The Times-Picayune January 05, 2010, 10:58AM David Grunfeld/The Times-PicayuneNew Orleans Saints defensive end Charles Grant has been placed on injured reserve.New Orleans Saints starting left defensive end Charles Grant has had surgery to repair a torn triceps injury and has been placed on injured reserve, a Saints official confirmed Tuesday morning. It appears the injury occurred in the second quarter of Sunday's 23-10 season-finale loss to the Carolina Panthers. Grant suffered a similar injury last season that caused him to miss the last eight games of the season. Grant had 44 tackles and 5 1/2 sacks this season.
