this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We can beat a Cards team that comes to the Dome and plays tired and flat, exhausted from having to slug it out all game with the Packers. Let's hope they do. I don't think we can beat the team ...

We can beat that Cards team we saw yesterday. The key is turnovers. We don't make them and we win.

I wanted the Pack because of my cheesehead hat and that Rogers has a weaker team defensively (stats don't show that they played a really weak schedule.)
Everyone should get a cheesehead hat. More dashing than an Indiana Jones fedora and warmer than a Caterpillar BB cap in that Arctic Express ya'll are feeling in NO right now. But I digress. No mistakes now. We need to introduce Warner to the Field Turf early and often. Rotate those ends in and keep the pressure on. Cover 2 and man-press off the line. |

Speaking to the Saints coverage teams ... over the past several weeks the Saints were forced to field several of their best special teams players in the starting offensive and defensive lineups. These players did not play on special teams during this time and it showed.
From this point on not only will the Saints top special teamers be back in the lineup, but our best players overall will be playing special teams. Bush will be returning punts. Fujita and Shanle will be in on coverage. Malcom Jenkins and Courtney Roby, who have both been used as starters, will be returning to fulltime special teams duty. |

Rackers last field goal attempt (seemingly a gimme) sailed wide left in AZ. As much as I dislike kickers deciding games played by real football players, most have fragile egos and this may prove to be something to watch for in next weeks game.
Can you imagine the pressure on Rackers in the dome on Saturday? Especially if he misses his first attempt. |

Let's rock the dome this Saturday! Make their ears BLEED! I work with a few Cardinals fans, and they are not scared of the Saints at all. I just smile and nod, and say "We shall see." But boy was I salivating watching that offensive matchup yesterday!!!
