Is it because they both play/played in Green Bay? |
Re: Antrel Rolle thinks Rodgers > Brees
Aaron Rodgers kinda reminds me of an Aaron Brooks with a higher football IQ.
No similarities with Brooks. JaMarcus Russell however is carrying the Aaron Brooks torch wonderfully. |

Face it, Brooks certainly had his faults, but when Brooks was on his game he was every bit as awsome looking as Rodgers both throwing and running, IMO. Brooks' problem was when he was off, he looked gawd-awful pathetic. And I totally forgot about Brooks playing in Green Bay. Maybe the similarity is part subliminal? Anyway, sorry to remind you folks about Gumby. Hope I don't get banned. |

Brooks was excellent in the two-minute drill, because his dumb arse didn't have time to think.

Re: Antrel Rolle thinks Rodgers > Brees
Rolle has been a flop since he was drafted. He finally turned into an average player once he was moved to FS. His great defense ranked 20th in total defense during the regular season and that certainly carried over into the postseason. So really... how much can you put into what he says? With that said, Rodgers was the number 1 fantasy quarterback this pass year and well... I wouldn't want to face him again either.

Re: Antrel Rolle thinks Rodgers > Brees
What we used to bemoan all the time here on B&G is that you never saw AB studying while the Saints defense was on the field. All you saw was this--->
I guess that I can see some physical resemblance but that is all. Rodgers is a really good QB. And... Oh brother, I try to get away from him and they pull me back in! |
