Who's officially off the bandwagon??

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; There has been plenty said about the loss yesterday. Are you guys trying to say the season is over. If so -- go on record right now??? If not then what exactly are you saying??...

I am officially off til next year. Hopefully they will be smart enough to pick up some quality defensive backs, cuz Dale Carter can\'t cover the whole field by himself.

I\'m still on but don\'t know why. Jesus wouldn\'t take this much suffering. Man, this is painful. If we lose Sunday, I might jump. nah

I don\'t know what you mean by \"off the bandwagon\". Am I still rooting for the Saints to be successful? Yes. Has my prediction of 8-8 changed? No, but if it does it\'ll be moved down, not up as of today.

What does \"off the bandwagon\" mean? You\'re not rooting for the Saints, or you don\'t think the Saints have a chance at... the Super Bowl?... Playoffs?... a winning season?...

If that\'s the case I don\'t know that I was ever on it.

You\'re on the wagon and it\'s hitched up and ready to go !! When I started this thread is was because some of the Saints-Not-So-Faithful was talking like we wouldn\'t win a game this year.

Emotions have a funny way of clouding one\'s judgement though. We will both have to scoot over and make room for \'em after we whip Huston\'s azz. :P

Who's officially off the bandwagon??

If I zealously cheer for the Saints to win every week but still don\'t absolutely believe that the front office did a wonderful job during the preseason or always think that the team plays up to their individual or collective potential, can I still catch a ride?

Billy you are a strange person ... at least on this board you are.

You kept calling people bandwagon fans so I asked what a bandwagon fan is. Here is what you replied with.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
\"Actually -- Anyone has the right to criticize the Saints whether you have been a life long fan or just started watching them yesterday. It\'s nothing wrong with criticizing them. Now, that we\'ve got that out of the way -- What I\'m saying is critcizing the team and dooming the team after losing one game is different.

If a person dooms a team after losing one game -- it\'s gonna be kind of hard to support the team if they start winning. When its obvious that a person hates everything about the team -- from the coaching to the QB and right on down the line -- How are going to suddenly start likeing those people. The answer is simple really -- the only reason that person will be supporting the coaches and the players is if they win. Right???
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From your definition I still don\'t know what a Bandwagon Fan is. Sounds like only the card readers in the french quarter are bandwagon fans.

The way I see this is post is you are trying to pin people into a box and of course when they win their first game you will come back with some \"see I told you\" type of reply.

Next year or the year after I predict you will be on another teams board claiming to be their only fan too. Meanwhile, the rest of us will still be here rooting on the new coach and his team. LOL
