My feelings on Cards
I'm sure I will catch s#%t for this, but unlike most other teams in the league, I can't bring myself to hate the Cards. It can be because of division rivalry, a holes on the team, past success, or geographic relevance, but I genuinely hate most other NFL, and all other NFC teams. But I can find no reason to hate the Cards. No previous success, Warner is a good guy, good receivers who don't brag like most of them do. If (god forbid) we don't advance, I will pull for the Cards. I honestly can't say that about another NFC club. If we loose, I will have cause to hate them I guess! Oh well, let the St Michael bashing begin.

Re: My feelings on Cards
Funny thing is, I feel the same way, except about hating other teams. But I think I will pull for the Cardinals should they beat us, as I did last year. It may well be because they have had years of mediocrity, no respect and decent players who, on the whole, don't run their mouths off (remind you of anyone?) There will be no St Michael bashing from this direction. However, I do hope we put up some points in the first half, say...45.. no, that's greedy. 40.. yes 40 will do.

I feel pretty much the same way. The only two teams I can stomach from the NFC besides the Saints are the Cards and Seahawks. And as of right now the Cards are off the list.

Re: My feelings on Cards
honestly, its hard for me to continuously hate any team. i mean i really hate seeing ANY team beat our saints, and seeing them showboating and celebrating on top of it really gets to me and drives me to extreme anger. but after a year or so, i lose that hate i once had for that team. example: i wanted to beat the hell nick saban and every bama player when they beat lsu this year and last year, but i found myself rooting and happy they won the national title. another example: we lost to chicago 3 straight years i believe, and after ever game the hate built larger and larger than ever before. but this year, it was hard for me to hate them so much. i guess cuz i eventually got over it and i knew we were a better team than them. of course i hate the falcons and cowboys and panthers and any other rival we have. but the hate comes and goes for me. as of right now, my hatred for the cowboys is EXTREMELY HIGH!!!!! but previous years i didnt have it out for them as much. didnt any of u find it hard to hate tampa bay this year cuz they were so patheic this year? but in recent past years when they'd light us up with joey galloway, i wanted to set fire to their entire stadium, but this year not so much. idk, maybe im too nice of a guy. am i the only one? i as big of a saints/lsu fan as u will find anywhere. im not a bandwagon rider, ive had saints season tickets since 05 when the saints were displaced to tiger stadium and i went to every game that year and since then. and now only i have 2 words to cap off this entire post. WHO DAT!

Re: My feelings on Cards
To be honest, I do like Green Bay. I lost my dad when I was little and GB was his favorite team, so I always like to see them do well. However...I believe the Cards will be easier to beat than the Pack would have been. So, even though it was a little difficult, I had to root for the Cards last weekend. Now, I have zero feeling for the dead birds, so it won't bother me a bit to watch New Orleans squash them like a grape.

Re: My feelings on Cards
I DO remember when Warner played for the Rams, and I DO remember hating the Rammies! But I DID pull for the Cards last year, and if it were between Dallas and the Cards, I would pull for the Cards for sure. I live in Texas (transplanted from Louisiana), but I cannot even begin to get into the Texas teams! My hubby, a lifelong Texan except for the stint where he lived in and played football for Colorado, has now been 100% converted to Saintism! ( I am especially proud of this accomplishment)!
