Lets talk matchups

I will be looking to see if the AZ RBs are picking up 5-7 yards every time they get the ball and if Grant will be missing. I think it will be telling early. |

Re: Lets talk matchups
Saints have been giving it up early on the ground, and then tightening. We have to make them one dimensional. I hope that's the case with Ellis on the field. Grant and the others do much better when Ellis is clogging up the middle. Last week the Cards looked soft in the middle on defense. I hope Lance Moore is healthy (Brees loves him), and he and Shockey are gutting the birds and opening up the outsides for Colston, Henderson and Meach. Then running the ball gets easy. If we get it going early, we can do what ever we want on offense, and start nailing the coffin shut on defense.
