Marty knew talent. He preferred Brees over Rivers. I think that is why he had problems with the GM (Smith?)

I liked Marty too.

I'm proud of Brees and glad he's done well for you guys but Rivers hasn't exactly done us horrible either. Both are completely different QBs but also top 5 QBs.

As good as Brees is, Rivers has given us no season to miss him. Though I've been every home game Brees and Rivers have played here in San Diego and it's been money well spent!!!
