Rivers is widely considered to be a jerk by many across the NFL. I still remember him jawing with fans after winning in Indy 2 years ago. I though this was about what both QBs do off the field. None of this answers the question.

As for everything else... he gets his knee blown out in Indy. As he's walking off the field, fans are yelling stuff at him. He yells at them "I'll be back?" What's wrong with that?

As you mentioned... Cutler's a jerk. Cutler trash talked Rivers and the Chargers all week long, the Chargers wasted him 44-3... why not throw some smack back at him?

As for the actions of other players... that's on the coach, not on the QB.
