Usa today article about J.Shock and Vilma
NEW ORLEANS — Before his 2005 death, iconic New York Giants co-owner Wellington Mara summoned two players to his Rye, N.Y., home — running back Tiki Barber and tight end Jeremy Shockey.
Shockey grew up without a father in Ada, Okla., and cherished his bond with the Giants' patriarch, who died of lymphoma at 89. Shockey feels Mara's encouraging spirit with him still as the New Orleans Saints tight end prepares for Sunday's NFC Championship game vs. the Minnesota Vikings. Great article. I certainly hope they both retire as Saints.
I was thinking about that earthquake. I have never heard of an earthquake in that area of the world before. That could mean many problems for the Gulf Coast area, Florida, and Georgia. Living in NorCal, we not only have to worry about quakes, but tsunami's, from the ones that hit under water, off the coast. That area has enough problems with tornadoes, and hurricanes. Now possible earthquakes? Geez... We're all going to be living in Montana soon.... |

Great article! Ya know, this is the sorta information you'd think you could hear on the NFL Network instead of the non-stop discussion of Dallas. If a person only relied on the NFL Network for information I'm not sure you would even know the Saints were in the playoffs.

If that ever happens (hoping it doesn't) y'all can come live up here in So Dak. It's cold as hell in the winter time, but the summers are nice!
And we could overrule the Vikings fans in numbers! Muahahahaha!! |
