Mike, if nicebush25 is a no-show you can bet I'll be decked out. Heading to the store after work to get ready for the weekend. It's hard to make a Honda Accord intimidating though.

All those places listed above, I have enjoyed at some time or other. We were in New Orleans for the (ugh) Dallas game, and I really enjoyed Acme Oyster Bar again. They seem to be pretty consistent! Once I saw Marshall Faulk in there just before we beat the Rams in the playoff game. We went to K-Paul's the night before the Dallas game, and they seated Wade Phillips and his family right next to us for dinner. You just nevah know who you'll run into!

is a nice place to sit and drink wine during the night hours. get a little table outside and sip wine and enjoy the chilled atmosphere and sites around you as it sits next the the Catherdral.

all of the places i have mentioned are very local and you can get a good feel of what it is like to live in new orleans by visiting these places

lafittes blacksmith bar (best bar on bourbon st)
acme oyster house (INCREDIBLE food!!!!)

Jacques-Imo's could use the business from all the construction on Oak st. And have a bottle of Gruet while you're there!!!


After dinner, go next door to Maple Leaf and catch some live music!
