I doubt Peterson will be a factor Sunday...
Just saying I remember last year when we played the vikings... I think we lost by like a touchdown in 4th quarter but AP was really shutdown I've read a few articles where people say hes going to run all over us but I highly doubt it... anyone remember that game last year? I'll dig up some stats and since we pretty much have the same Dline I think it could be a repeat performance by AP

I refuse to rest on anyone. The minute I start believing someone will be a non factor, will be the minute they have the biggest game of their career. I'm a firm believer in NOT being over confident. I learned the hard way on that one in 06, when I predicted that Grossman would be running for his life the whole game. He had better stats in that game, than he had all season.

Re: I doubt Peterson will be a factor Sunday...
Remember the game like it was yesterday. Saints leading 7 - 0 and getting ready to make it 14 when we have a dropped pass by Meachem on the 17 yd line then a holding call on Jammal Brown and the next thing you know the Grammatica midget has a FG blocked and Winfield takes it to the house and it's 7-7. You can basically say Winfield accounted for 2 TDs for the Vikes because he also had a sack fumble on Brees on our own 5 yard line. We had too many mistakes in that game and we still should have won because the little midget missed a second FG with 3 mins left in the game.

Oh yeah and we also had the Peterson fumble that Hoculi said wasn't a fumble even though the ball was moving prior to him hitting the ground.

Yeah, why don't the talking heads remember last year's game stats, when the Saints shut down the running game?
Probably because they had Booger from "Nerds" as their qb and we stacked the line daring them to pass. |

it blows my mind on how many commentators keep talking about the Dallas game but keep failing to mention how many starters were out. They talk about that game as if it were a blow out. Correct me if I'm wrong, we lost by 7 right? I know it wasn't pretty but we did keep it close with so many injuries. Now we have everyone back and they keep talking about how teams can run all over us. How big of an impact that the queens front 4 will be, will be one of the biggest determinations on how the game will go.

Talking Heads are boneheads. They get paid to babble. Try to focus on that and they seem a lot funnier.
I just hope Hockuli isn't anywhere within the State boundary this weekend. :/ MinnieSoooota ain't ready for this much mojo. Vilma eats AP's for lunch. It is our time. No amount of babble from the boob tube talking heads will change that fact. |
