Re: Terry Bradshaw

Last thing the Vikings need is bulletin board material. I just wish alot of this hype would die down, and we could all just focus on the game at hand. Don't think for a second, that IF we get by Minnesota, that either New York, or Indy will lie down for us either. We all need to get outta the clouds, and reallize that we still have a long freaking row to hoe.

I'm all for confidence in one's team, but don't go overboard.

Re: Terry Bradshaw

Thanks Bradshaw but Bree's need to be focused on the game, not passionately thinking about totting a trophy around, i hope he doesn't lose focus because of that.

Yup, Minnesota (just like Dallas) will use any and everything possible to motivate their team if they're coach is desperate enough he'll post this in the Locker rooms of the players and preach about "THEY'VE ALREADY BEEN CROWNED!, THEY ALREADY THINK THEY'VE WON IT ALL!, THEY TOOK US OUT THE GAME BEFORE WE HAD A CHANCE TO PLAY, WE ARE THE UNDER DOGS! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?! " Message to his team..
"sigh" i hope he doesn't read this board and get any idea's from my post, i actually got amp'd up reading what i typed lol.

I'm glad we are on the same page here Wrath. I'm all for joking around, and speculation, but thinking a game is over, before it starts is just insane. The team, and we as superfans, need to stay just as grounded here. Let the analysts do what they do, and let's just keep focused on the task at hand.

Re: Terry Bradshaw

Give me a break people, like Terry Bradshaw's twitter is going to have any significant effect on this game. I know Drew and Sean are huddled around the computer with coffee sifting through TERRY BRADSHAW'S tweets to see if they have a chance of winning Sunday.

This IS one game at a time -- if he would've said hand him a Lombardi trophy, then that would be thinking a game ahead. Please stop finding ways to defeat yourselves. Had this been a boxing match, your faces would be a bloody mess. Why? Because if you step into the ring scared, you get beat.

Are you serious? I'm not just talking about juust the tweet here. Tattoos predicting Superbowl victories, songs about superbowls, people already booking trips to Miami. There is a difference between confidence in one's team, and just plain stupidity in counting wins that YOU DON'T HAVE. I'm not talking about defeating yourself, but I remember 06, and all of the bs, that was being posted in here, and said everywhere else. Some of these so called fans had us beating the Colts in the superbowl, before we even got on the plane to Chicago!

If you guys want to dance around in your recently bought bootleg Saints World Champions T-shirts, living in a dream world, that's your business. But don't expect everyone else to agree with it, and join you in your premature high.

There's a show called My Name is Earl, deals with Kharma. I suggest a few people watch it. Win first, then talk and celebrate. Until then, keep it freaking real.

Re: Terry Bradshaw

I'm not saying we're world champions, I'm not advocating Saint's Champion tattoos, I'm not approving any of the Saints superbowl songs -- that's all overboard, OF COURSE IT IS.

I'm flipping the coin and saying don't go overboard the other way either, as if this tweet was just the latest nail in our proverbial coffins.

And as for Karma, I think its squarely in our corner. We're still underdogs in the media's eyes, and secondly if 40+ years of eating **** isn't enough penence, I don't know what is. Its OUR time to declare Karmageddon on other teams. Believe it.

Re: Terry Bradshaw

All I'm saying is that it's better safe than sorry. If someone tells me," go ahead bro, jump off that roof, there's a pool down there, your gonna love it." I'm going to look first, and make sure there's a pool down there, before I start thinking about how refreshing it's going to feel.

Because if there isn't one, then I'm going to have some broken bones to deal with.

As far as your coin thing goes, I agree. Once again, a HUGE difference in confidence and cockiness. I am confident, but I will save my cockiness for the middle of February, IF I need it.
