How many of us thought that the way the vikes had their way with us but turned the ball over wasn't going to be the way we might have played this game in years past? While this game was about as ugly a game that the offense played all year, they didn't hurt themselves with the kind of stupid mistakes (save reggie's brain fart) that we would have created to define the franchise. After all the hew and cry settles about their performance, this team didn't panic, even though the offense blinked big time.

I truly feel for the Vikings and their fans. They beat us up and down the field when they held onto the ball. But, as I've posted many times, you are what your record and your performance in each play say you are. The saints didn't give up nor did they give the game away. If you're going to make it to the promise land, you can't slough off for a second.
