Maybe it was just me...but I doubt it. We got some terrible calls, but we still got it done - Halleluyah. These refs were "supposed" to be the best stripes in the league this year - NOT. It seemed like there was a deliberate effort to preserve Brett Favre for a Superbowl appearance - it was sickening. I don't mind if the refs decide to call a tickey-tack game, just call it tickey on BOTH sides. Please tell me how we tag Brett 9-10 times, get no sacks, and Sota has NO holding penalties - not even one. They were hanging on Smith and McCray ALL night. Good riddance Brett Favre. I hope they don't put Mannng on the "Do Not Touch" list.

I agree 100 percent!!! The refs tonight did everything they could to give that game to Faaavra. I don't know how many holding non-calls I saw against the Vikes. It was disgusting. We overcame it though. We're going to Miami!!!!!!!!!!

WHO-DAT!!!

Re: Cream of the Crop Refs? C'mon MAN!

we got some calls....they got some calls

the one that got me was the roughing the passer on hargrove.....that was a ****ing terrible call

the country, the "experts", NBC, and the refs all wanted the vikings to win....even against all that, none of them can compete with the football gods

the saints earned this.....we didnt steal it.....we didnt get lucky......we earned this

the game is not played only on offense.....our defense created turnovers and thats what helped our offense get points

Well, according to some angry Vikings fans, the refs gave us the game.

But, I remember us having twice the penalties as them.

The better team won, I think so!

I agree I thought they wanted to see a Farve vs Manning SB. Only 3 penalites throughout the whole game. I got sick and tired of hearing about Farve leading up to this game and I knew the refs was gonna protect him BUT the D beat the DAYLIGHTS out him. Warner and now Farve it's time to let it go you both had a good run and now it's Brees turn WHODAT 4 LIFE!!!!

I wanted to see the Favre-Brady Superbowl. I wanted to see the Perfect Season, the old vs the new, Favre go out with a bang, etc. I was 0-3 in 2007, but 2-1 in 2009. Two out of three aint bad.

Yeah ... the refs were definitely in the tank for the Queens .... I mean we had to challenge for the Bush TD ... The Pierre Thomas TD where he stretched out, his knee touched first ... we would have scored anyway on that one. As says earlier, the football gods would not let this game from being stolen from us.

Re: Cream of the Crop Refs? C'mon MAN!

We always seem to get "duds" for officials. I was so ticked off last night! It is disgusting how biased those guys can be. You can't tell me that they (the Vikos) didn't do anything to get penalized for, because I watched them holding all night long! Ugh! I wanna know where you can find some decent, fair, unbiased refs.....because they need to chunk out all of these old guys and get new ones!

BTW, where are all those disgusting Viking fans who said they'd be back this a.m.???
