During the game
When i was at in my house last night, half way through the game i kept repeating the same line to myself...... "i hate close games"......" i hate close games". I started to get frustrated when our offense couldn't move the ball after our D had done superbly and held the vikings offense on numerous occasions.
When the vikings got the ball back and began to march i didn't want to admit it, but i thought that was the end. All of sudden a penalty flag for 12 men comes into the huddle of the minnesota vikings. That led favre to a third and 15, where he chooses to do what hes done throughout his whole career. Throw desperation passes. Who shows yo to make the play? only the young corner that a favre to berrian link had exploited. Step in TRACY PORTER..... a nice imitation of mullets dance. Props to pierre thomas, he provided rays of hope, first with the long kick return to start OT, second with the 4th and inches fleur de leap. And last but not least, garrett hartley, as soon as i heard how you struck that ball, and seen it go over the vikings, i knew where we were going. after the game during the award presentation, i found myself speechless for the city of new orleans, and when i saw how payton had a lump in his throat just talking to the media the unbelievable feeling finally set in!!! |
Your bonehead creator picked a fine chapter to omit from your memory bank....let me ask you, does a machine like yourself ever experience fear? - Vegeta, DBZ
