Every time a Colts player gets into trouble... they are gone. Ed, Johnson, Marvin Harrison, Darryl Reid, Dominic Rhodes (although they brought him back after 1 season in Oakland). They simply don't put up with bad behavior.
Brees is a stud. For me this game comes down to if the Colts protect Peyton Manning from your abusive pass rush. If they accomplish that... I think the Colts win. Pulling away in the 2nd half. Not a blow out... but by more than a TD. This also assumes that the Colts don't put the ball on the ground, which they are not notorious for doing. Otherwise... it'll be a long day for the boys in Blue... and the Black and Gold will have a happy SB. The Colts defense will get after Brees. They have a couple GREAT pass rushing DE's and the DT's are WAY WAY improved from years past. That combined with a new Defensive coordinator that blitzes once in a while now... they are a whole new defense. Either way... their could not be 2 more classy teams in the big show. It's nice to see good guys not finish last for a change. Jabba |

All I've ever wanted was to see my Saints in a SB before I croak. Win or lose, at least we made it once. I like Indy and the Colts, and expect an epic game--truly one for the ages.

Re: Colts fan here, I come in peace
Hard to have any animosity for the Colts and their fans. Even during their SB year and beyond it was 99% all class and humility. I respect Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Dwight Freeney and many Colts players immensely. I would prefer to be playing someone I cannot stand, but I love the fact that if you want to win it you want to win it against the best and the Colts have surely been that for a few years now.
There is no bigger challenge than outduelling one of the best QB's of all time. I hope we rise to the challenge once again and continue to find a way to win. |

All this talk about Colts reminds me of a funny story. I told my kids a joke. The joke was...
When is a person not a person? Answer: When he is a little hoarse. I asked my daughter the same question about a year later...she was about 5 at the time. I said, "When is a person not a person?" Her reply, "When he is a little pony." |
