this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; bookies make money from winners and losers. they make a cut no matter what, is the saying. all i know for sure is i am glad i waited to place my bet. keep going up baby!!...

A good bookie lays off his bets that are lopsided and takes the juice to assure he doesn't lose...unless he's a gambler and decides to play a game himself. Most probably have a bookie of their own that they lay their bets off with.
