Re: Hey Choupique....It wasn't hopeless. Who Dats win!

You need to get out more, dbag.

That battle isn't over is my guess. Greed never stops just because you think it has.

"Greed" drives both sides in this fight and that is a good thing. If Who Dat was the intellectual property of the NFL in some sort of meaningful way I would be on the side of the NFL. But Who Dat is a creation of the culture of Louisiana.

"Greed" is good. It drives the engine of our economy, ingenuity and progress.

I know you wish for greed to be a pejorative and that is why you use the word greed instead of many other choices for the desire to obtain more wealth.

Re: Who Dat nation 1, NFL 0 in Who Dat fight........

You may have been misunderstanding what I've meant the whole time so i tried really hard not to dbag you too hard, gumbonehead.

I am not defending the NFL. I've clearly stated that. I think some folks have reading comprehension issues, but I digress.

Again, it isn't all about who dat. Many of the bootleggers are OBVIOUSLY making products that resemble saints imagery and you all know it.

The guy who started the tread obviously has to do stuff here that makes him feel correct in his own mind. Got it. I'm fairly comfortable in my skin.
Sorry to hear the OP isn't regardless if he realizes this thread reveals as much about him as it does any of us.

Try to read what I post, not what you think you read.

You are just upset that someone you disagree with politically actually wrote a letter to the NFL (David Vitter).

And you are upset because yesterday you said it was futile to oppose the NFL's lawyers and the next day the NFL backed off from claiming rights to the phrase "Who Dat".

You can try and pretend to be some sort of brilliant mind but you are only average at best. I suspect I nailed you in my first reply when you posted about a moral compass. You are most likely a conspiracy theorist with left wing tendencies. Your posts are generally pessimistic and cynical.

If it were otherwise, you would have been glad Vitter came to the immediate defense of Who Dat no matter your political affiliation and you would have been very happy that the NFL has backed off from its original position to one that is legally defensible (Use of Who dat in combination with actual NFL logos, trademarks etc etc.)

You are more interested in smashing the other side politically than being happy for a good result. You are more interested in trying to prove you are right than admitting Vitter did a good thing and the little guy scored a victory over an "evil corporation".

Who Dat!!!!!
