D will spell difference when Colts roll over Saints
Jan. 30, 2010 By Clark Judge CBSSports.com Senior Writer Tell Clark your opinion! For the first time in 16 years, the top two seeds in the NFL playoffs meet in the Super Bowl. Naturally, the assumption is that we're in for one of the most competitive and memorable contests in the game's history. I don't think so. I say the Colts win and win big, and here's why: They're the best team in football and have the best quarterback in football. The only games they lost this year were ones they threw back. They've been to a Super Bowl before, winning it three years ago. And they can do what the Saints can't. The Saints need Jonathan Vilma and his fellow linebackers to shed blocks and make plays. (Getty Images) And that's stop their opponent's offense. It's that last item that seals it for me, and I can already hear the groans on Poydras Street. The Colts ranked 18th in overall defense and struggled against the best quarterback they faced, New England's Tom Brady. I also know that the Saints' Drew Brees had more touchdown passes than Brady, a better passer rating than anyone out there and hasn't made a big mistake in two playoff victories. But he won't do to Indianapolis what Peyton Manning will to the Saints, and that's shock and awe their pass defense. read the rest D will spell difference when Colts roll over Saints - NFL - CBSSports.com Football |

Re: Article: According to Clark Judge ..we have no chance
Well, his reasons are pretty much spot on. Its just his assumption that we have NO SHOT is off base. If we played the Colts 10 times, yeah we probably only win 4 out of 10 games.
But next Sunday its quite possible that one of those 4 games in favor of the B&G happens. I have no problem with experts picking the Colts. In fact if I had to bet the house I'd probably pick the Colts too. I just have a problem with those that say we have "NO CHANCE", because we damn sure do. We definitely have a better chance than the Giants did beating the Pats 2 years ago. |

This article is laughable, I guess I'm to understand that since indy held the ravens and jets one dimensional offenses to 20pts combined, that they'll easily contain the #1 balanced offense in the NFL. Give me a break! I think the Saints can use this type of talk and even more motivation to silence these clowns.

Well according to most of the media, we already won our superbowl anyway, when we won the NFCCG. Now all the Saints are doing is partying all night, and not really caring whether we win or not, and the Colts are such "Vets", that they all left the stadium, immediately after the AFCCG, tossed the trophy in the garbage can, and went home to dinner, and bible study. Payton Manning has a cell phone with God's number on speed dial, and he is the "BEST QB TO EVER PLAY THE GAME", and that's a direct quote I've read, and heard more than once in the past week.
Let's face it folks, we have no chance to win. We are all just a bunch of boozers, and dregs, with dillusions of grandeur. Why don't we just phone in the forfeit now, and get it over with? (This post has been brought to you by SARCASM, and The Oreo Cookie Challenge) |
