Greetings from a Colts Fan who bleeds Black and Gold….
…Purdue Boilermaker Black and Gold, that is.
I just want to say that the Super Bowl is the match-up I’d feared all year, but at the same time looked forward to. Undoubtedly the best team in each conference this year will be meeting, as it should be. I don’t see a blow-out either way, and for the most part, I believe the Saints and Colts are fairly evenly matched. The reason I am fearful is your great quarterback, Drew Brees (I wish we could clone him). For the last few years you have all been treated to the excitement that Purdue Football fans knew Drew brings to the game. (BTW, He sure looks great in Black and Gold!) As a Loyal Purdue Boilermaker; I would take no pleasure in seeing him lose. At the same time, I can think of no other franchise in the NFC (or AFC for that matter) that I’d rather have the Colts lose to. Beyond Drew, you have a great team with a great coach. It’s been great to see them rise to dominance. (BTW, my wife LOVES your city!!!) Good luck and God Bless…It has all the makings of a great game! |

Hey there Purdue and welcome to the board! Drew has been an inspiration to all of us Saints fans and has represented Purdue with class and dignity. He throws a pretty good deep ball as well.
The Colts are well received here as well and isn't it strange that Peyton represents the same to us as Drew does to you. Let's get ready for a great game! |

Well stated exile.
Most old Saints fans love Peyton, we remember seeing him in the dome when he was in high school, tossing passes.... |
