This all smells a bit too fishy.

If he really does have a torn ligament, I can't imagine he will be as effective as if healthy.

But then again, I thought that about D. Ware...

players dont miss the super bowl unless they are dead or pu**ies

freeney is one of the best DEs in the league and i assume that he is one of the tougher guys just from all the respect that he gets....he will play

i have no doubt in my mind that he will play, however, his injury will surely help bushrod a lot because we wont have to chip freeney as many times

that means we can focus a little more protection on mathis' side who is just as dangerous when rushing the passer

The Saints have prepared for the Colts thus far with the assumption that Freeney will play. While I like the idea that he will be out, I don't believe for a second that Payton will fail to account for him.

youre right about mathis and if freeney doesnt play, i wouldnt be surprised to see mathis moved to his spot.
