How many of the vikings fumbles were caused by hard hits or good tackles and how many were caused by a RB known for fumbling or a bad handoff?

Most were caused by hits or strips, it's what out D does. Go back and rewatch the game if you like. I have already. Same with interceptions, defensive pressure cause those mistakes as well. You're being delusional if you think otherwise:bng:

Re: Dwight Freeney, star defensive end for the Indianapolis Colts, may miss Super Bowl XLIV with serious ankle injury

Yes most were, but not all. Also the Saints didn't cause the Vikings to have to many guys in the huddle, that was their own stupidity. No penalty at the end of the game, odds are the Vikings don't pass down there but go with another run to set up a field goal attempt.

When a team can make you nervous enough that you fumble or drop the ball, hurry you enough that you mishandle it, and keep you flusterated throughout the game, so much so that you do stupid things like have too many men on the field...I think that speaks for itself.

SaintPauly 02-01-2010 05:22 PM

Nevermind Joanie, he is a Vikings fan. He hardly mentions the Colts, in any of his posts, or arguments. Posing as a Colts fan, to annoy us.

Colts-Az FS 31-10 won by 21
Saints-AZ FS 45-14 won by 31

I'd say they have as good as shot as any to put up that many points and more. The Cards were not the same team this year. Not a good comparison.

Colts game was AT Phoneix
Saints game was in NO

That makes huge difference, PLUS the Colts were playing the Cards after playing the Dolphins on Monday night and then having to fly to Arizona for a Sunday night game. And we still wooped their butts.

Also remember the Cards destroyed the Vikings for which the Saints struggled to beat in teh NFCCG.

Hey, this is all YOUR criteria. By your definition, that means the Colts are not better than the Pats, which I truly do not think they are. The Colts got lucky yet again by a bad decision by BB. The Saints completely owned them. No luck was needed for them to win. The Colts squeaked by. Are you saying the Colts are better than the Pats even though luck played a role? Quit blowing smoke up your behind. The Colts are not a team that is invinsible, walks on water or unbeatable. They aren't the greatest of all time, far from it in fact. Your disrespect to other teams including the Saints is laughable at best. Up until now, the Colts have had nothing to brag about except for countless post season failures. Win something this weekend first before relishing in your own hype.

^ Yes, but the Saints destroyed the Pats where the Colts struggled against them to win by 1. Please, we could go on and on and at this point, it sounds to me like you're trying to talk yourself into believing the Colts greatness. Both teams are where they are because they deserve to be there. You will both be playing on neutral ground, so home turf won't mean a thing. They are both very good teams and the best team will end up on top. If it's the Colts, then so be it, they're the better team, but until then both teams have strengths and weaknesses, and yes, the Colts do have weaknesses and one of them will be if they are without Freeney.

Colts go 14-2 in regular season, of which the two losses came against our B team. We then beat the Ravens and Jets both whom touted the best and 2nd best Defense in the league. The Colts are great, they have proven that, lets see what the Saints offer?

if i remember corectly both the jets and the ravens are pretty much one dimentional. making it a lot easier to game plan. now your getting a candle that burns on both ends, that in itself will be fun to watch which one to worry about. then the jets toasted your db for a record long.

Indy... What's your malfunction bro? The Colts are great... What will the Saints do.... You act like a jerk, and then wonder why everyone has a problem with you? You act like everything that you say, is the gospel, and if anyone disagrees with you, they are being stupid. I'm curious, and please be honest, how old are you? Because you are seriously acting like a ticked off 13 year old in your posts.

Talking about the game Sunday is one thing, but you are obviously just here to insight people, and be a jerk. We have a smack talk section for a reason. If that's what you want to do, then please, go there.

This is a Saints NG, and in this section, we talk about the Saints. We don't need to hear about how "great", another team is, and in fact, we don't wanna hear about it. Go to smack talk, and you can talk all the crap you want. Problem solved.

Losses are losses. This "oh we only lost because we wanted to" is crap. They're losses, they go on the records as losses, they are what they are, I don't care who is playing. Yes, you beat two 9-7 very overrated teams in the POs beating Sanchez and Flacco, yay for the Colts. I can almost guarantee they would have lost against the Chargers and Colts fans could be heard around the world breathing a sigh of relief. Heck, the Steelers beat the Ravens and this was one of our worst years ever. The Saints beat the 11-5 Cowboys and 14-2 or 13-3 (I can't remember) Vikings beating both Favre and Romo. A little more impressive in the scheme of things. The Colts are a good team with a great QB. That is what they are, everywhere but Indy of course.

You know, I knew that as I was typing I was making a mistake, LOL! :dunce: We were so thrilled the Boys got knocked out I could hardly contain myself. OK, still, you beat Warner...again! Warner/Favre still more impressive than Flacco/Sanchez. Now that's not a mistake, LOL :-D

Edit: God my memory...wait did Warner get hurt during the game? I know Favre did and still played, but please refresh my memory. Warner stayed in the whole time, right?

point is saintpaul25, you can talk about the season as much as you want. teams have so many ups and downs. teams have to overcome adversity and injuries. as i said in another post, just ask the 2007 giants and patriots if the regular season mattered at all!

I agree Boonedock. I mean, it's an endless cycle. Cowboys beat Saints, Vikings beat Cowboys, Saints beat Vikings. You never know, who's going to win, on any given sunday. This guy, and his, "We already know the Colts are GREAT." That kind of cockiness just makes my blood boil.

Yeah, Warner sat out a couple of plays, and Leinart came in, but Warner came back. He was a warrior, but we kept on hitting him for the rest of the game.

yeah, this kid doesnt know anything. he's just little kid. if he'd been around long enough, he would know how respectful saints fans are to other teams and their fans. he would show us a little more respect knowing what we've gone through as fans and he'd understand that no matter what our record, we're the most humble fans around.

OK, I remember now. We were at Applebee's watching the game and now I recall it being yet another blowout. Everyone was cheering. Even though some consider AZ Pittsburgh West, it seems everyone in the bar that night wanted the Saints to win. It would be great seeing you guys win it all this year. The games you won were impressive and it just seemed everything was clicking at the right time. I look forward to the Saints hoisting the Lombardi. The Steelers play the Saints this upcoming season. Unless the Steelers work miracles on their o-line, I can only imagine how many times Ben will be on the ground for that game!

I asked him how old he is, because based on his posts, he seems VERY young, and I would bet he is. Although I'm sure he will tell me, that he is in his 50's, and has been a Colt fan since Johny Unitas played. At least that's what I am expecting.

My father, and brother, are both long time Steeler fans. I've been through alot of ribbing over the years, being a Saints fan, but they are both pulling for the Saints this year. Kind of nice, us all being on the same page for once. Although, I might get yelled at by some of my fellow Saints fans here, I was pulling for the Steelers last year. I hate Jerry Jones, and knew it would stick in his craw, to know that the Steelers had one more superbowl than his Cowboys.

LOL, well good for you sticking with "your" team through thick and thin. That's they way it should be. I stuck through the Steelers through the wretched 80s after watching them win 4 SBs and every year kept saying, "next year". Eventually it comes. And I share your feelings about Jerry Jones, but then again, who doesn't? He's everything that represents wrong in the NFL, well him and Goodell that is, but let's not go there, lol! The Colts fans are young and most only became fans when Manning started winning. They'll be gone when he's gone. I know every fanbase has obnoxious fans, but man these Colts fans go beyond that, it's the arrogance and cockiness I can't stand. Believe me, the Saints win, the Colts fans will have all kinds of excuses. That's what they're really good at.

Good luck on Sunday. I'm sure I'll be back around to check in but you should know we here in the 'burgh are rooting for "yinz" to bring that Lombardi to sweet NO!

Please don't lump me in with the Jerky Colts fans. I have been very respectful, and try to talk about football.

The Colts are a great team. So are the Saints. the game this Sunday will not change either of those facts. I have been a Colts fan since they came to town in 1984. I was a junior in high school. I think how Bob Irsay did it was a travesty. Although, Baltimore DID try to steal the team from him. I think he had the right to leave, and probably should have... but in the middle of the night was a cowardly way to go about it. Jim Irsay is a lot more stand up dude. I don't like his politics... but he's not a dick like his dad was.

The Saints rock. They are probably my favorite NFC team. I have some allegiance to the Packers too. I was a Bears fan when I was a kid... but now I realize I was a Walter Payton fan, not a Bears fan.

Sorry to ramble.

6 days till two great teams clash. I can't wait.

The facts are that the Colts are the more consistently good team. That being said, the Saints are more consistent each year over the last 3-4 years. If the Saints show up playing their best ball....no way we lose!!! PERIOD!!! If both teams show up playing their best ball, no way we lose!!!!PERIOD!!!!

The Saints are more likely to show up without there A game than the Colts are, like I said they are the most consistent team in the NFL!!!! I just don't see how that happens though.... My mind can not conceive failure at this point!!! We have overcome to much and come to far to beat ourselves!!!!! I really really like our chances of winning this game!!!!!

WHO DAT!!!!!!
