The Saints don't run a wildcat like the Dolphins do. The Saints operate a more traditional offense, one that the Colts D has seen game in and game out this past season. I believe Freeney will play, at about 50-60% and on known passing downs. Having him not at 100% will hurt, but I believe we have the speed and other players to more then compensate.

Back to the topic of Freeney, if it's true and he's out for the SB, I do see this hampering the Freeney/Mathis combo. Not trying to be disrespectful myself, but I'm not that crazy about the Colts D. In particular, the secondary. If it comes down to which D is going to win the game, I would put that in the favor of the Saints. If the Saints are watching tapes of the Indy/Miami game, they'll pound through the Colts D. That was one of the most lopsided unreal wins I think I've ever seen. While the Colts D has definitely improved, but it's not great. Freeney is a big part of that and without him, it may have more of a negative impact than you might think.
