Why are Saints fans booing?

I don\'t neccasarily agree with the booing but I think everyone was anticipating it happening. These fans have no other way to get the message out that they are not proud of the play they see except for a chorus of boo\'s. If the fans only cheered then how would the fans let the team know they want something better.

Part of the problem is the saints keep Brooks away from the fans. I don\'t live down there so I don\'t know, but does Brooks have a radio show or is he ever put in a position where someone gets to ask him more than the lame 1-2 post game stuff?

Why do they boo ??

Some suffer from what can be called a 2002 season hangover .
I am aware of some who went out and got season tickets , just to really show Haslett some noise after his fan comments last year .

The same can be seen across boards all over , the fans are ready to give Haslett and Brooks a real bad time after last year .........

Really? Hmm, didnt realize he did it all by himslef. If any \"one\" player is to be credited for the win then it would have to be Brian Milne.

Why boo? Because they can. Simple as that. I for one would not have boo\'d during pre-game, but if thats what some people feel they need and must do then so be it.

I guess you know you are a REAL fan when you don\'t give up hope on your quarterback or running back or TEAM. You are a REAL fan when there is something inside you that says your team can still win even though there isn\'t much time on the clock or the defense hasn\'t fared well all day. A REAL fan believes in his team when it seems the team is going down. When it would take a huge pass or a big break to win the game.

Being a fan means you have to believe even when your team may fail. Believe that the running back can run that 8 yards on 4th and 7. Believe that the quarterback can make a throw on 3rd and 10 to get that crucial first down.

REAL fan? This simply \"your\" opinion of what a \"real\" fan is. No offense but your REAL fan definition sounds more like a \"delusional\" fan definition. And as far as the franchise is concerned... I bet they consider a REAL fan as anyone who buys tickets to the game. And if they were there to boo then most likely they bought tickets. IMO, ANY current Saints fan is a real fan. Unlike many other teams that have past SB wins, you can never be sure who was a real fan before the bandwagon showed up. Well there is no bandwagon for the Saints (due to lack of ever having any significant success) so therefor we are all real, true Saints fans.
