Many People are pondering, Should i or shouldn't i, you'll also see on Blackandgold.com that some people are still trying to purchase it and are probably going to have to shell out a hefty price to get a hold of the taste of the WHO DAT DRANK. Right now the value of this Champagne is around $500.00, you can search around bidding sites like Ebay to see if you can scamper across some deals but ever since the Saints went on a 13-0 run and won their first playoff game the Champagne Value grew and grew, not only that, it seems to be a hot item for collectors or crazy Who Dats looking to spend anything to get ahold of it for celebration or waltzing *Second Dancing* down Bourbon street with it in their hands. Many people don't even know the history behind this bottle, it was originally bottled and distributed by a California winery, but sold only in local but now shuttered major grocery chain called Schwaggmans, The Bottle originally sold for $4.19 and was always neglected by people and passer byers, now the Who Dat Champagne is back with a Vengeance! Valuing Triple-Quadruple to the 3rd power of what the purchase price was. My grandma also remember seeing it in Delchamps.. (but im not sure about that).. Now that Saints are here, people are now backing off their promise to pop open their bottom that will eventually have an added Net Value of $1000.00 if Saints pull a win off.. I've seen some already going for $2500 (Which is ridiculous right now ) local Louisiana Media outlets ran stories on this very thing.. here are a couple. Yes. I say drink it. That's like a 40 year old Virgin moment right there. Keeping toys in their boxes, and never playing with them? No fun at all. Drink it!

It looks to be selling on ebay, but there is one at $27 and change with almost 2 days to go, and one starting at $60 with no bids yet. I still got mine but it has traveled from New Orleans to Alexandria to Biloxi to Tucson to Georgia and now it's in Tampa. The label is a little faded and not perfectly clean, but it's still one of my most prized possessions ;^)

If you go to the Local Wineries in New Orleans and Metairie you can get that Bottle for about 10 bucks.
Not as old but same stuff and same wrapping. |
