Re: 2010 Saints UFA's and RFA's
Scott Fujita, Darren Sharper, and Jammal Brown, seem to be the biggest names on the list that I see. This whole CBA thing has me all screwed up, on who needs to be signed. With no cap, isn't it possible to resign everyone? I mean, if the Benson's fork up the dough?

Resign Sharper and Brown to market value, bye bye Fujita.

We could end up with lots of new faces in the camp next year but MOST will probably be back to try it again. I hope the team chemistry isn't disrupted so much that we see a lot of inconsistency. FA is going to be a roller coaster ride and where it stops, nobody knows.

That's what I'm afraid of. Not to mention this "final 8" rule, will also effect us in FA as well.

That is a lot of players coming off of a Superbowl team. The other teams are already evaluating our Free Agents.

I'm taking a long shot on this, but I'm thinking this might be a touchy subject right now, considering the superbowl this weekend. Sorry I brought it up.....

Re: 2010 Saints UFA's and RFA's
Although highly unlikely, there is still a chance, that an agreement could be met before the end of March. That would paint this list in an entirely different light.
I understand what the players are mad about, and I think what they want is fair. But when you get a bunch of rich, old men together, with their uncontrollable greed, you get situations like you have with this, right now. |
