That statement "no team has won the superbowl after losing to the Bucs in the same season" is only true causally for the Bucs over the Raiders in Super Bowl 37. Other than that, it is entirely coincidence.
If one has nothing to add, usually one comes up with ridiculous statistical anomalies that have no real relationship to each other save that they exist simultaneously. Example: No team from Cleveland won an NFL championship game while Hitler was alive. Yet, the minute he dies, they win. |

We've already boken so many streaks, never been done befores, and 0- stats this season so I don't put any stock in it.
Besides, no team that I am aware of (besides the Saints) has ever beaten the eventual Super Bowl champion (Bucs 2002) twice in a season, so I think that negates any Tampa curse... |
