Warren Sapp will not be an anayst on NFL for the Superbowl - Details inside
Former Bucs and Raiders defensive lineman Warren Sapp was arrested Saturday following an alleged domestic violence incident at a Miami Beach hotel, police said.
More Sports Sapp was charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic battery and is expected to appear before a Miami-Dade County judge today. Shortly after police officials confirmed the charge, NFL Network spokesman Dennis Johnson said Sapp - who is an analyst - wouldn't be part of the Super Bowl coverage for today's game. The incident occurred early Saturday at the Shore Club hotel, according to a police news release. Read more: Sapp arrested after domestic violence incident Man i hope Sapp come out of this clean but it's not looking good, apparently as the story goes on from the link above, Sapp gave the women his key when she was tired of the party, later on she was woken up, screamed at, pulled up by her shirt and thrown down, ended up with a bruised neck and knees.. The Network has pulled Sapp for now, and it could be indefinite.. However Irving is charged with Sexual assault and still able to commentate the Superbowl.. hmm.. Looks like the one person that was pulling for the Saints gets slammed by the network.. While i don't condone violence, i feel more strongly toward rape charges than i do about a women that apparently refused to leave someone's hotel room.. However he should have called security or something or got another room. |

I guess the best advice for any celebrity nowadays, is to stay at home, and only come out when you have to go to work. I'm not saying this is bs, but celebrities are targeted ALOT. I'm starting to see why most of them are such buttholes, when you try to approach them.

I heard that he will no longer be an analyst for NFL Network after this incident. I read the article, and from what was printed, it seems to me he has a temper, and he was probably drunk when he assaulted the alleged victim.
The Michael Irvin incident supposedly happened three years ago and this woman is just now speaking up. I'm calling bullsh*t on that one. Whether or not he did it, she should have come forward a long time ago. If some guy raped me, I wouldn't wait three years to report it. I'd make that bastard pay. |
