The day is finally here

The day everybody said would never come is finally here. The Saints, our Saints, are finally in the Super Bowl. It's hard to explain to a non-Saints fan (and even harder to a non-sports fan) how this moment makes me feel. This team is so connected to the city, more so than any other team I've ever seen. I know I'm a little biased, but I've lived a lot of different places, a few come close - Gator Nation, Hokie Nation - but nowhere else but Who Dat Nation does the teams success and failure have so much influence over the psychology of it's fans. Grown men will cry, kids will do better in school, feuding neighbors will come together all because the Saints won the Super Bowl.

We've been waiting for 43 years and sometimes I never thought this day would come. You got it right G it's hard to explain to a non-Saints fan how you just want to break down and cry and laugh at the same time. We'll be crying tears of joy today because whatever the outcome we finally made it to the promised land and we ain't the ain'ts no more!

i woke up at 7am, went for a jog Chantin Who Dat!!! cut my hair, im tryin to find someone to cut the fleur de lis in the side of my head .... i cant stop movin around, im soooo Geeked up for this....
