Yessir. It's nice, and I'm proud to own it for obvious reasons. I've got two acoustics I play with, a Washburn and a Takamine. I don't pull the Gibson out too much.

I've found it hard to find out much about AllStar. The original guy died in Arkansas a few years back, but some name musicians recorded there at times.

my next guitar will be a Jaguar.... and in regards to Gibson, it's all good too. I've got a Les Paul Standard that gets it's fair share of attention too, but when Gibson shines to me is their amps. I LOVE Gibson amps.

I've got a Gibson Super Goldtone GA-30RVH w/ matching 210 / 212 cabinet. And my favorite is my Gibson Goldtone GA-30RVS (true stereo) 212 combo. I also have a couple oldies; a Falcon and Scout. Love them too! ironically, nothing sounds better through the Gibby amps, than fenders... but a compliment to both makes.

I'm contemplating jumping out of this thread and starting a musicians thread..... hmmmm..... contemplating......

Hey Guys

I found this picture online about a week ago and made a poster of it. I thought it was a great alternative to spending $100.00 to have one page of the picayune matted and framed. I hung it up and took some pictures and instantly got over 30 or 40 requests from friends, co-workers, classmates, neighbors and family wanting one. The original price I spent was $40.00 plus shipping but due to the fact I ordered in bulk and have about 50 extra or so I am able to sell them for $20.00.

I think this is great looking poster and a great deal for people who do not have $100.00 to shell out on one framed picture. If you want one or more, contact me @ shogan@uno.edu and we can arrange a local pick up or i'll take paypal, money order or check through mail/pick-up.
