Re: Will Bush be back?
Yeah, he'll be back...even if they have to re-structure his deal under the guise of an "extension"....

I hope so too. |

Re: Will Bush be back?
Probably so, Payton likes him a lot. I think he's going to have to change the way he uses him though. Pierre and Mike Bell are both potentially available too. I saw something the other day suggesting that maybe we should use Reggie in a way similar to the way the Vikings use Harvin.
Might make some sense. |

I say we take up a freakin collection.
Whatever it takes. The guy is dangerous. They can't want OUR TEAM having to catch that guy! |

Re: Will Bush be back?
Bush can't go ANYWHERE and get the touches he gets with the Saints. I'm sure he doesn't want to be any place else besides the SP open offense where he can do his thing. An adjustment or two will have to be made concerning that 8 million, and I hope somehow we can structure some private endorsement monies to help seal the deal.

Re: Will Bush be back?
I really hope we'll retain him. He has good production almost every game. 67 all pupose yards in the SB is not bad. His contract is a little bit big but I hope the can fix that.

Re: Will Bush be back?
I hope so too. I hope it works out some kind of way.
He has been good for N.O. as a citizen too in his charitable works. Being with the Saints, his age, his short time in the NFL, and winning SB, I would think he wants to stay here and hopes it can work out. It is not going to better than this right now. Even if Saints don't make it to SB next year, they should be in the Playoffs. Getting to the SB is difficult for any team. Colts might not be back either next year. The Saints are a strong unit now as a team and coaching staff. |
