this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't think the 2 pt conversion changed the game... but i thought that the receiver had to control a catch out of bounds or even AFTER crossing the goal line. I thought that was wrong... but I am no ...

I don't think the 2 pt conversion changed the game... but i thought that the receiver had to control a catch out of bounds or even AFTER crossing the goal line. I thought that was wrong... but I am no expert.

Crossing the goal line ends the play at that instant. All he had to do was control the ball long enough to cross the plane.
