Still wasn't a smart move in my opinion. He's a punter, the least important position on a football team. At least he looks like he'll be a good one though. Glad we got him, but we paid too much. |

It is least important to pin dangerous punt returners in the corner of the field? Time after time after time? The VyQueens are still whining about that.
I disagree. Special teams is a full third of the game and truly important. That is new school mentality. That is why Coach Payton is so hot for kickers. If this season didn't teach ya that, you may just not get it. |

Re: Your un sung hero of the super bowl?
I have to agree with Vilma here. I don't think he gets enough credit for his management of the defense. We all know an injury to Brees would be devastating, but I think an injury to Vilma would be almost as bad. He is truly the "QB" of the defense. We were lucky he stayed healthy all year.
And that was a hell of a job keeping up with a WR in deep coverage. |

Re: Your un sung hero of the super bowl?
I agree with everyone who was mentioned. I really thought of Henderson because I thought he did a great job picking up 3rd downs. One guy who didn't get mentioned was Greer. The guy came out and immediately we gave up a 20 yard TD pass on his side of the field. He also made a nice play on the colts last drive to draw an offensive pass interference and push them back 10 yards. So I'll give Greer a shout out for unsung hero
