The only thing missing from his resume was a SB ring. Statistically he's been as good as anybody the last few years.

The league handing the MVP to Peyton was a sham, Brees earned it. He just doesn't have everyone nuzzling his sack yet

Agree. Not his fault, but saying Peyton is MVP for 4 years is an insult to the many very very good players in the NFL over that period. OK Peyton deserved recognition when the Colts allegedly had no defense and he was carrying the team. Fine - they took account of his PRODUCTION. But now the pundits are waist deep in their own hype.
