I'm Still a Manning Fan

Last night was really hard because Peyton is a true New Orleanian. I've cheered him on and pulled for the Colts since he joined the team. There is nothing but undying respect for a man who plays hard, works like a dog and is loyal to a fault. He's done as much for our city and recovery as anyone. I'm not taking anything from anyone by saying this, not Brees or any other Saint.

You probably won't see this, but Peyton, you're still the man.

Re: I'm Still a Manning Fan

I'm with you XAN, much love for Peyton Manning. As long as he's not playing the Saints, I am pulling for his success. We got Ricky into the hall, and I would love to see our own Peyton Manning get inshrined for his body of work. I hope Archie can find some comfort in knowing that this Peyton loss is still a win for him.

I completely agree with this. Peyton Manning is a great person, and a great QB.

Fortunately, it was the Saints' night, not Peyton's.

Archie is a little sad for his son, but I have to believe he is also a bit cheered this morning at the Saints' victory.

Re: I'm Still a Manning Fan

Like I said earlier in the week...the one person I would not want to be during all of this is Peyton Manning.
