Story from yesterday in Miami
I was at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami for three hours yesterday just to see the team get on the buses. Sean Payton didn't respond to the crowd and I was worried that he looked a little tight. Obviously this man is a offensive genius and he was all business.
How often do teams get this lucky with a first time head coach? The man just wants to win. I sure as hell hope Benson writes him a check out of his personal account to reimburse him for that $250,000 he gave to get Williams. Also, I had a chance to meet Jon Stinchomb's dad yesterday. Very nice man! I became a very big fan of the family yesterday. One other memorable moment from yesterday was having this young girl, probably 12 years old or so, standing next to me watching the players get on the bus and she said "I want to see my daddy get on the bus". As a dad and a man, that was beautiful to me. Made me think about the quality of men we have on this team. Loomis and Peyton have accumulated soem great talent and some great quality men! WHO DAT!!!!!! |
