i agree that jay is playing some good ball right now but.....
i wonder if the chemistry between T-Buck and green would help the secondary, those guys played together for a good length of time as far as nfl standards go, they know each others habits and abilities remeber in training camp when T-Buck and mitchell got into a fight, it was a result of arguing over coverage assignments |

Hold on. Time Out!
Am I hearing people say that Jay Bellamy is playing great right now? Are you guys serious?!?! Bellamy made a couple of big hits last game, yes. He also got juked out of his pants by DAVID CARR on GOAL LINE D, and still missed a few tackles last week. In week one he showed why he is the Saints all-time missed tackle leader. I think Bellamy is poo. He consistently misses tackles, and while he rarely gets flat out burned deep, he also rarely makes plays. I don\'t see him breaking up many passes, in fact, I usually see him rolling off receivers backs as they break free. Victor Green is a good safety. He\'s played with T-buc. Give him a couple of games to learn the system and he\'ll be the starter. |

Whodat, my brother, you know I usually agree with you on every subject but I think you\'re only watching passing downs. You do remember that there are running plays too? He has done very well against the run. That is in my opinion. :P

Let\'s all get real, why aren\'t we just starting Brooks at safety. He\'s the greatest football player who ever lived, he can play both ways. He\'s big, fast, with unlimited athletic POTENTIAL. So why can\'t he start at safety?

Since we\'re being totally moronic. I completely agree! AB for safety! We now can start the chant. :P Billy, will you lead us?

I can remember two plays when Bellamy came up and was really involved in a run. One was when the Texans were deep in their own territory. He delivered a big hit in the backfield or at the line and jumped up and down and got all excited. The next play I remember he was busy wiping turf out of his facemask and trying to find out where his shoes went... that was right after Carr scored.
I don\'t know how Bellamy can be good against the run if he is the world\'s worst tackler. Don\'t you actually have to tackle a guy to be considered good against the run? |
