Overrated former and current Saints
http://www.cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/6650947
Here are the overrated players for the other 31 teams.
Green Bay Packers
Joe Johnson, DE. When the Packers signed him as a free agent before the 2002 season, several scouts and personnel men thought it would be a bad move. Johnson got hurt last year, but even healthy, he isn't the player he once was. Johnson has four tackles and no sacks in two games.
Houston Texans
Charlie Clemons, OLB. The Texans think this converted middle linebacker can be a pass-rush force in their 3-4 scheme. So far he doesn't have a sack and has just one tackle. If rookie Antwan Peek didn't get hurt, he would have taken his job.
New Orleans Saints
Dale Carter, CB. At his best, Carter was a shutdown corner who was tough to beat. But age and off-field problems have eroded his game. He still can be quite good at times, but is no longer the cover player he once was.
Tennessee Titans
Eddie George, RB. The Eddie George of three years ago would never be in this space. But injuries and carries have slowed the once-powerful runner. He can still be effective, but he isn't the same player he was earlier in his career, yet he still gets that type of respect.
