this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't know they said he left before the time expired. Moss got killed for that. He might be getting a pass...

Re: Manning beats an unhappy, hasty retreat
You can flame me if you want ..but if Brees would have done that he would have never heard the end of that...Im proud Drew was the first Texas QB..to play in a superbowl and win it...Manning is a BIG BABY!!..end of story..

Re: Manning beats an unhappy, hasty retreat
Did other Colts players stick around to congratulate or hand shake after the final seconds? If they did, then I'm sticking by my first reaction that it was a bratty snub.

Re: Manning beats an unhappy, hasty retreat
I gotta agree on the snub. Someone else said it. He's Peyton Manning for Christ's sake! If he wanted to get to Brees, to shake his hand, security would have gotten him through the crowd rather handily. If he was mad at his own players, or whatever reason, he still should haver done it.
I don't hate him for it, by any means, but I don't understand it either. |

Re: Manning beats an unhappy, hasty retreat
He has always been a big baby.
His "Manning Face" when things don't go his way has been well documented by some people not in love with Oreo hucksters. Remember in '98 before the draft many questioned his ability to win a big game. I mean Tee freakin Martin won the national championship in '99 with essentially the same team. Fun to watch the talking heads crawfishing after they already "annointed him"! |

Re: Manning beats an unhappy, hasty retreat
I dont care if Manning is from NOLA..he's a sore loser...Little ole Drew Brees whipped that ass..and he cant stand it..Manning was the frikin enemy..If he was so fond of Louisiana why the heck didnt he go to LSU..or better yet Tulane..I hope the Texans stomp a whole in him next year..this really chaps my ***..that he was too good to seek Drew out and congradulate him...Drew did what his daddy could never do..WIN...and i really think that pissed them off...lol..You go Drew you nothin but class baby!!
