2010 NFL Draft
No, let's celebrate a few more weeks before we get started (though we need to get Hagen up in the BullPen)...
But my point is that if you start reading some of the early mock drafts, the Saints are picking No. 31 instead of No. 32; definitely a Dewey Defeats Truman moment!! |
Re: 2010 NFL Draft
I've been reading that and guess they just haven't done an updated draft since Sunday night! ;)
My early thought is an interior defensive lineman or outside linebacker. More though as we get further away from our championship win! |
Re: 2010 NFL Draft
They should leave us at #31 as punishment for assuming the Colts would win :-)

Re: 2010 NFL Draft
DT is a must. OLB and DE could be upgraded. We have a couple of players coming back from IR who could improve our depth on the defense. If we found a center I would be happy, although we don't necessarily need it as much.

Re: 2010 NFL Draft
Depth on both lines.
Upgrade OLB. Depth at CB. |
Re: 2010 NFL Draft
I know it's not part of the draft per se, but what about signing Julius Peppers as a DE replacement/upgrade? We've lost players to other division teams over the years, would Peppers be worth pursuing?

Re: 2010 NFL Draft
I haven't seen numbers on his deal, I just know he's coming available. I'd rather have him with us then have to play against him twice.
|
Re: 2010 NFL Draft
Why, he didn't do squat against us this year and he's leaving Carolina anyway
I couldn't see paying the kind of money he will command. We could have a shot at Aaron Kapman (ACL) or Darryl Tapp who is a solid run defender. Draft: George Selvie DE/OLB - South FL |
Re: 2010 NFL Draft
With the 32nd pick in the NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints select...
Chad Jones, OLB, LSU *me drools* |
