That I don't doubt but to brag about it is the load that some of us are being sarcastic about. Don't take it personally. It is only a thread.
If you called it good for you. You win. You da man. Talk about the players not yourself and maybe some of us won't poke ya in the i-rib.com |

Canton The Divider
I had no idea it was coming. Even after I saw the foot hit the ball I thought "what a dumb*** call". Then I jumped for joy 5 minutes later. |

Re: Who knew the onside kick was coming?
I don't think it is about fully knowing he was going to do it, but because of his past you may have had suspicion this was coming. I had a suspicion, and I believe that other people may have had too. I do not think it is a far leap. I did not know it before the game began though, and if you asked me then I would have said you were nuts, but by the way the game was going I thought it was possible, and I actually said please don't tell me he is going to start the 2nd half going for an onside kick. I thought it was going to end bad, but it didn't!

Re: Who knew the onside kick was coming?
I said to myself, "we should kick an onside kick, they have been cheating backwards all season, and I don't think that dumb looking white boy with the emotional wife can catch the dam ball."
The rest is history. |

Re: Who knew the onside kick was coming?
That was the biggest gamble I'd even seen in a Super Bowl. Especially when you're only down by 4 points. I was just hoping the defense could hold the Ponies and give the offense a chance to get the lead.
Huge gamble but glad it landed in the Saints favor!!! |
